## How it works

1. You publish to a B2B audience that buys software.
2. You already talk about customer proof, references, or marketing operations.
3. You apply with a few sentences about your audience.
4. We send you a unique referral link within a few business days.
5. You earn 20% recurring commission on every signup, plus 10% off the first month for your audience.

## Hosted by the founders

The program is run directly by Shine's co-founders. Andres Blank handles outreach and onboarding; Travis Keeney owns the economics and program design. No portal, no affiliate manager. Both founders read every application.

## Frequently asked

**How is attribution tracked?** Each ambassador gets a unique referral link with a 30-day cookie. If a customer subscribes within that window, the conversion is credited to you, even days later or on a different page.

**When do payouts happen?** Monthly, after the customer's payment clears and the refund window passes. Paid via Stripe Connect (direct deposit) or PayPal.

**Can I refer myself?** No. Self-referrals don't qualify and are audited.

**What happens after 12 months?** Commission ends at the 12-month mark from the customer's signup date.

**What if Shine changes the program?** Existing ambassadors are grandfathered on in-flight referrals.
